Belief Systems

Belief Systems are the subconscious patterns of meaning, expectation, and identity stored in the nervous system that shape a person's emotions, decisions, behaviour, and lived reality. They operate below conscious awareness and produce results far more reliably than conscious intention does.

Also known as

  • Subconscious belief structures
  • Operating beliefs
  • Identity patterns
  • Inner operating system

Origin of the Term in This Work

In the work of Fabian Henzler, “Belief Systems” specifically refers to the layer of subconscious beliefs encoded in your Operating Signature that the Belief Systems Methodology is designed to identify and rewire. The term predates the methodology in psychology and theology, but is used here in a precise technical sense: a belief system is a self-reinforcing cluster of beliefs that produces a coherent, predictable life pattern.
